The Culpeper Prayer Room invites everyone to join them on May 27th for a Global Day of Prayer/Pentecost event at Yowell Meadow Park, Pavilion A, from Sunrise to Sunset.

Culpeper 2012 high school graduates will be holding a combined Baccalaureate Service at 2 p.m. on May 27th at Germanna Community College’s Daniel Technology Center (18121 Technology Drive, Culpeper, VA).
Family and friends of the graduates are invited to attend. Class members should arrive by 1:30 p.m. in their caps and gowns.

There was a wonderful time of fellowship, prayer and worship during yesterday’s evening National Day of Prayer event held at the Culpeper United Methodist Church. Vertical Worship led the attendees in worship through their music and a number of people participated in the service. Pastor Randy Orndorff opened up the evening in prayer, Carolyn Kebede led in the Call to Worship, and Fran Kimball led everyone in a Prayer of Confession.

Thank you to all who showed up at our noon National Day of Prayer event on the Culpeper Courthouse lawn today, May 3rd. Approximately 125 people were in attendance. It was good to see so many who serve our community in areas of government, police, fire and rescue, education, military, business and worship.

Various churches throughout Culpeper are congregating together during the season of Lent and an invitation is being extended to the community to join them. For six Sundays, beginning February 21, 2010, services will be held at different churches each week. The services will be conducted in the tradition of the host church, with a guest pastor providing the message.
